The Stanford Autism Center at Packard Children's Hospital Parent Education Program offers a half-day parents conferences throughout the year designed to provide parents and caregivers with information about Autism Spectrum Disorder in children and adolescents. Please come and join other parents to learn about treatment options, ask questions, and share experiences. The program starts at 9:00AM through 12:30 (the time is the same for very program date).

Understanding Social Deficits and Teaching Social Skills
This program is designed to provide parents and caregivers with information abut social deficits associated with autism spectrum disorders, and how to build social skills in elementary, middle, and high school age children. The program will be divided into two groups depending on child's age. Please come and join other parents to learn about treatment options, ask questions and share experiences.

Building Independence with Homework and Chores
This program is designed to provide parents and caregivers with information about how to address ways to build a child's independence and self-sufficiency, as appropriate to their age; in the home setting. The program will be divided into two groups depending on child's age: elementary school age and children in middle and high school.
